The spiritual leader of the Universal Spiritual Outreach, Prophet Kwabena Boakye Asiamah Ajagurajah has advised Archbishop Charles Agyinasare to seek assistance from the presidency to resolve the ongoing dispute with the people of Nogokpo.

Following Agyinasare’s comment labelling Nogokpo as the “demonic” headquarters of the Volta Region, the town’s chiefs and priests responded with a series of backlash and threats.

Despite Agyinasare’s subsequent apology and clarification, the traditional leaders of Nogokpo have summoned the founder of Perez Chapel to appear before them within 14 days or face consequences.

Expressing his two cents on the matter, the renowned spiritual leader, emphasized the need for the involvement of national leaders to achieve a peaceful resolution.

“It has already occurred, so no one should rush to judge. There are powers in this world, and he knows it. He should appeal to the presidency and implore them to assist in resolving the issue on mutual grounds. As he undoubtedly has connections to the government, he should seek their support in resolving the problem amicably,” stated Ajagurajah.

During an appearance on United Showbiz, the founder of the Ajagurajah Movement further explained that accepting the invitation from Nogokpo would lead Agyinasare to undergo rituals that conflict with his Christian faith.

“Perhaps his statements were not intended to cause harm, but I believe the people of Nogokpo want to use him as an example, as a scapegoat, because he is a prominent figure. The rituals and practices he would be subjected to do not align with Christianity. He will inevitably be required to appease the gods. Even the Bible advises us to ‘give what belongs to Caesar to Caesar.’ Instead, he should assign emissaries, as it would be perilous for him to go. Refusing to attend may also lead to trouble,” Ajagurajah elaborated.
