GMB2023: Delegates take on challenge to produce exquisite designs for a variety of occasions

In the third episode of Ghana’s Most Beautiful, the 16 contestants donned gorgeous, vibrant patterns made from GTP materials and expertly sewn.

The ladies brought the designs of their outfits to life in addition to showcasing their beauty. All 16 contestants were divided into groups and given the goal of creating designs that would work for various occasions.

The ladies performed flawlessly at the GTP fashion night, exceeding all expectations.

Members of Group A comprising of Ohemaa from the Bono East Region, Selorm from the Volta Region, Nurah from the Northern Region, and Naa Ayeley from the Greater Accra Region created a garish attire that turned a kayayo (Head Porter) into an entrepreneur with simple footwear and lovely jewellery completing the look.

Aduanige from the Upper East Region, Kwartemaa from the Bono Region, Olila from the Oti Region, and Ebo from the Ashanti Region made up Group B.

A simple yet brilliant design from Group B transformed a mechanic into a corporate executive. The attire had a highly traditional Ghanaian formal wear design.

Group C was made up of Twumwaa from the Central Region, Benewa from the Western North, Titiaka from the Savanna Region, and Afriyie from the Eastern Region.

For a young university graduate, these ladies designed a stylish graduation dress. Every young graduate will long to wear the attire they created for the graduation.

Last but not least, Group D was made up of Serwah from the Western Region, Wunie from the North East Region, Amoanimaa from the Ahafo Region, and Sung- Suma from the Upper West Region.

They enthusiastically created a lovely piece for a janitor attending a wedding. Their ornate attire portrayed an African wedding guest at a sophisticated wedding.

With dashing and striking designs from all four groups, it was a challenge for our judges to determine the winners of the night.

However, our ladies from Group B, Kwartemaa, Olila, Aduanige and Ebo were adjudged winners of the GTP fashion challenge.

 

They received gifts from sponsors of the show; Gino tomato mix, GTP fashion, AirtelTigo Ghana, TecnomobileGh, Heaven insecticides, Sankofa natural spices, Belpakghana, Geisha Ghana, Topchoco and VitamilkGhana.
