In a display of cultural celebration and storytelling finesse, the inaugural performance following the launch of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2023 showcased the exceptional talents of the 16 regional contestants.
As they paid homage to significant events from their respective regions, three contestants emerged as standout performers, capturing the attention of the esteemed panel of judges and securing prestigious awards for their remarkable contributions.
However, amidst all these performances, 3 of the regional representatives upped their game and caught the eye of the judges of this prestigious beauty pageant and emerged winners of specific awards for the night.
Kwartemaa, from the Bono region who dressed like a man in his old age with the middle of his head bald and clad in colourful clothing, had her appearance impressing the judges to the point where she was awarded the best-costumed performer for the night.

Moving on, Greater Accra region’s rep, Naa Ayeley won the most eloquent for the night. Appearing on stage and educating viewers on the story of how the Ga-Dangme fought against the Ashanti kingdom in the Dodowa forest to pave way for the former’s unity, Naa Ayeley’s submission was fluent, articulate and enlightening. One could not help but enjoy her wonderful and entertaining performance.

The ultimate award of the night went to Selorm of the Volta Region as she bagged the title of ‘Star Performer’ for the ‘Storytelling’ episode of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2023. Her performance wowed the judges who couldn’t help but give her the price. She told viewers the story of how Mama Yakagbe disguised herself as a mad woman to cause havoc in the British camp which posed a threat to the peace the people of Anlo enjoyed. Her presentation was unique and remarkable.
