Ghanaian-born British singer, rapper, and songwriter, Eugene Entsir, popularly known as Eugy Official, has officially announced his departure from his previous lifestyle and his newfound faith in Christ.
The artist also made a bold move by deleting all his videos and pictures on Instagram associated with his old life, signalling a fresh start.
Taking to Instagram, Eugy shared a heartfelt message reflecting on his transformative journey.
He expressed gratitude for the transformative power of the Lord, declaring that when Jesus calls, one must heed and answer.

“If someone asked me at the beginning of 2023 what my year would look like I don’t think this is what I would’ve said. That’s how powerful the Lord is. When Jesus calls you there’s nothing you can do about it,” he shared in his caption.
Eugy openly acknowledged that he had relied on his own strength and had not been living righteously.
However, a turning point came when he realized the need to submit to the Almighty Father and allow His will to be done
“You must heed and answer. I’ve always said that I know God loves me but I’ve also always tried to manoeuvre using my own might & strength and let’s be honest I wasn’t living righteously – but there comes a point when you realise you must submit to the almighty father and allow his will to be done. I’m not perfect,” he continued
He shared that he was baptized recently by his his father, Pastor Joe, and his uncle, Pastor Joshua, in a significant moment which has ushered him into this new life
“Neither am I better than anyone else but by Gods grace I vow to move forward purposefully and with a clean heart. I got baptised last Sunday and I was blessed enough to have my Dad, Pastor Joe (white t-shirt) and Uncle, Pastor Joshua (Grey t-shirt) usher me into this new life. I give God all the praise. Looking forward to what the future holds,” he concluded
Eugy gained prominence in the music industry with hit songs like “Dance For Me” (Eugy X Mr Eazi), which even earned him a nomination at the 2017 MOBO Awards.
In 2018, he signed with Disturbing London, a record label founded by the renowned British artist Tinie Tempah.
This unexpected revelation from Eugy has sparked curiosity among his fans and the music industry alike.
