Reggae dancehall artiste Samini Dagati has expressed his eagerness to collaborate on a concert featuring Ghanaian artistes Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy.
During an interview with Berla Mundi on the Day Show, the singer emphasised that while a concert is a possibility, it should be organised by a neutral body to ensure fair treatment for all stakeholders.
“I’m down for it. Anytime, any day. I think something like that should be initiated by a neutral body so all stakeholders are treated equally and fairly and everything is done nicely because there are a lot of big heads at play and a lot of egos at play and if you are not careful, certain things may rub each other the wrong way and it will blow out of proportion” he stated.
This follows the alleged tension which has risen among these artistes in recent times.
Samini additionally mentioned that he is unwilling to take on the responsibility of initiating such a concert even though they organised the S concert in the past.
Samini stated: “I will not take on that challenge to initiate or to be the spearhead of who said let’s do a show together. I’m hoping and praying. We did it for the S concert”.
The award-winning singer went on to disclose that he maintains positive relationships with all the artists clarifying that their friendship exists despite not being mates.
