Sarkodie and Shatta Wale’s Lawyer Cynthia Quarcoo Laid To Rest

In a solemn ceremony that brought together friends, family, and colleagues, the funeral of Cynthia Beryl Dzifa Quarcoo Esq, the esteemed Founder and Managing Partner of CQ Legal & Consulting, took place on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Christ the King Church in Accra.

 

The unexpected passing of this legal powerhouse at the age of 52 on June 21, 2023, in London, sent shockwaves through both the legal and entertainment sectors in Ghana and beyond.

Cynthia Quarcoo left an indelible mark as a prominent lawyer, a respected legal figure, and an integral part of Ghana’s music and entertainment industry.

Representing some of the most renowned artists in the country, including the likes of Sarkodie, Samini, Dagaati, and Reggie Rockstone, she played a pivotal role in shaping the legal landscape of the entertainment realm.

The burial mass held in her honour was attended by luminaries from various walks of life, including rapper Sarkodie and his wife Tracy, along with prominent businessman Ibrahim Mahama, TV Host and parliamentary aspirant Eric Don Arthur, Melissa Mensah, and Kofi Okyere Darko, among others.

Cynthia Beryl Dzifa Quarcoo Esq was more than just a legal practitioner. She was also the visionary founder of Africa 1 Media and Entertainment, a platform dedicated to the Creative Arts, Entertainment, Media, and Sports industries.

Through her endeavors, she offered a spectrum of services ranging from Talent Management to Legal and Business Advisory, as well as Financial and Investment Advisory.

Her prowess extended beyond the realm of business, as she skillfully navigated legal complexities for some of Ghana’s most influential music icons.

Notably, she provided unwavering legal representation to Shatta Wale during his ongoing legal battle with his former manager, Bull God, until her untimely passing.

A beacon of resilience, Cynthia Quarcoo was a cancer survivor who defied the odds and continued to make remarkable strides in her professional life.

She leaves behind a legacy of strength, determination, and expertise that has left an indelible mark on the legal and entertainment sectors of Ghana.

Cynthia Beryl Dzifa Quarcoo Esq is survived by six children, her mother and an extended family
