UK-based Ghanaian musician Reginald Kojo Ainooson, better known as Reggie Zippy, has taken to his social media platforms to share an emotionally charged announcement about his divorce from his wife, Edith Ward.
The rapper, recognized for his hit “For Sale, Aayefe Notse and Adoma” posted a photo alongside his three children and shared his thoughts on his past behaviour, fatherhood, and his journey towards self-discovery and personal growth.
In a candid post, Reggie Zippy began by acknowledging his past shortcomings as a husband and father.

He sarcastically admitted to being irresponsible, wicked, and foolish in his actions, amplifying words his ex-wife used towards him during the brutal divorce proceedings.
According to the singer, he should have prioritized his family and cared for his children
He posted, “I just want to KEEP this SIMPLE and STRAIGHT to my point so kindly bare with me????????. AS OF FRIDAY 11th AUGUST 2023 at 12:00noon, I AM NO LONGER A MARRIED MAN after 15 years of being extremely irresponsible and wicked towards my children and their mother and I apologise to them for my unacceptable behaviour as a VERY FOOLISH FATHER AND HUSBAND, It was all my fault, I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER INSTEAD OF CARING FOR MY CHILDREN OR FAMILY????✌????. ????GOING FORWARD????????????”
The announcement also marked a new chapter in Reggie Zippy’s life as he expressed his intention to move forward from the sordid tale.
He assured his followers that any woman he is seen with from now on is not a side-chick or mistress but someone who respects and loves him genuinely.
