Agyemang-Badu, known for his international football career, made a name for himself as a member of the Black Satellites team that triumphed in the U-20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009.
He was also part of the Black Stars squad that finished as runners-up in the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola. Unfortunately, an injury kept him from participating in the 2010 World Cup.
While he returned to represent his country in the subsequent Africa Cup of Nations and the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Agyemang-Badu called time on his international football career in January 2021.
Currently without a club after parting ways with Ghana Premier League side Great Olympics, he is now looking forward to a different kind of success – one that might be realised through his future children.
