Ghanaians woke up on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023, to the heartwarming engagement photos of Badu and his soon-to-be bride, Reggietta Affua Arthur.

The photos captured the couple in a series of romantic and picturesque scenes, with Badu looking dashing in a suit and Reggietta radiant in a stunning red gown.

The upcoming wedding has ignited excitement among fans and well-wishers of the former Black Stars player, who eagerly await this new chapter in his life, sending their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the couple.

Reggietta was formerly a banker and entrepreneur and now owns the clothing brand Obideaba by Keytuwaa.

While Agyemang-Badu has been inactive in the football scene for some time, having last featured for Ghana Premier League side Great Olympics in the previous season, he remains highly revered for his remarkable contributions to Ghana’s football legacy.

Notably, he played a pivotal role in the Ghana U-20 team, the Black Satellites, which clinched the first and only U-20 World Cup title for Ghana and the entire African continent in 2009.

His final spot-kick in the tournament’s decisive match against Brazil secured the historic victory, and this momentous event took place on African soil in Egypt.

Agyemang-Badu’s football career also extended to the senior national team, the Black Stars, where he was a regular and featured prominently in major tournaments, including the World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations.
