Freezy Macbones intensifies preparations ahead of rematch with Senegalese boxer

Ghanaian boxer Seth Gyimah better known as Freezy Macbones has intensified preparations ahead of his highly anticipated rematch against Senegalese boxer Seydou Konate.

Their upcoming bout is set to take place on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the Bukom Boxing Area in Accra, Ghana. The fight holds significant importance as it serves as an opportunity for Macbones to seek redemption after a loss to Konate in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games qualifiers held in Senegal, Dakar, in September.

Freezy Macbones represented Ghana for the first time in the Olympic qualifiers, where he faced Seydou Konate and suffered a defeat dashing his dream of securing a spot in the Olympic Games. However, he is now determined to avenge his earlier loss and restore his reputation as a formidable boxer.

Since relocating to Dubai, Freezy Macbones has been diligently training under the watchful eye of his coach in preparation for the upcoming rematch. The UK-based Ghanaian boxer has shown great dedication to his training, with a strong desire to overcome his past setback.

Freezy Macbones boasts a professional record of two wins from two bouts, beginning with his debut match against Christopher Wood in February 2023.

Meanwhile, it was his victory over Darryl Sharp at the Copper Boxing Arena in London in April which helped him gain recognition on the national stage. He competed in a preliminary bout during the Joe Joyce vs. Zhilei Zhang main event and secured a unanimous decision from the judges, further solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the boxing world.

The rematch between Freezy Macbones and Seydou Konate promises to be a thrilling showdown, eagerly anticipated by fans and boxing enthusiasts.
