At the Baba Yara Stadium, a woman who is believed to be a major fan of Mohammed Kudus finally got to meet the Black Stars player, setting up an emotional outburst.

In recent years, a wide range of football fans from various demographics and backgrounds have shown love to the 23-year-old attacker who currently plies his trade for Premier League club West Ham United.

He has already become a fan’s favourite for the Hammers despite only making his debut as a late substitute in his new team’s win over Luton Town last week. While on duty at the Black Stars on Thursday, a number of fans were already spotted displaying unflinching support and love from the prolific goalscorer.

Eyebrows were raised when a UK-based West Ham fan flew all the way to Kumasi to watch his team’s new signing as Ghana locked horns with the Central Republic at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Another intriguing moment have been discovered thanks to TV3’s correspondents who actively captured the exclusive side attractions.

A young woman, dressed in a black-and-white African print with a scarf covering her hair in the same pattern, broke down in tears as she embraced the much-discussed talented footballer. The crucial moment for the lady arrived when Kudus with a smile posed together with her a picture.

The former Ajax player’s supporters were enthusiastic throughout the game, but Kudus did them a favor by doing what he does best by scoring a spectacular free-kick just before halftime when Ghana was down in the match.

His equaliser laid the stage for a huge comeback by Ghana, which helped them turn the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier around by dominating the second half. Ernest Nuamah scored Ghana’s second goal in the 88th minute to guarantee their entry into the upcoming AFCON competition in Ivory Coast.
