Ghana forward Inaki Williams has officially opened the doors to the San Mames Hotel in Akyem Achiase, in the Eastern region of Ghana, following the successful completion of its construction.
The hotel, named after Williams’ club, Athletic Bilbao’s home ground, the Estadio San Mames, offers a luxurious experience with state-of-the-art facilities.
The inauguration ceremony, held over the weekend, was attended by members of the Williams family, traditional leaders, and religious figures, adding a touch of cultural significance to the momentous occasion.
The facility features a sophisticated rooftop bar providing breathtaking views, a well-equipped gym, and meticulously designed standard rooms, ensuring a comfortable and opulent stay for guests.
Inaki Williams, who switched nationality from Spain to Ghana in 2022, is looking forward to his second major tournament with the Black Stars, having previously featured in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Despite recent challenges in goal-scoring for the national team, with just one goal in 13 games, Williams has been in stellar form for Athletic Bilbao in La Liga. He has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 18 appearances this season.
