The 36-year-old, who recently retired from professional football, took to social media to express his newfound faith, stating that Jesus is “the way, the truth, and the life.”

This significant step in Boateng’s spiritual journey comes just two months after his retirement from the world of football.

Boateng, originally born in Berlin, West Germany, began his football journey with Hertha Berlin’s youth side before earning promotion to the senior team in 2005.

At the age of 36, the former Black Stars player decided to hang up his boots after an illustrious career that saw him represent 12 different European clubs.

Kevin-Prince Boateng’s heyday was undoubtedly during his time at AC Milan, where he made 114 appearances, scoring 18 goals, and providing 16 assists across two spells with the club.

His football journey also took him to notable clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham Hotspur, and Barcelona, among others.

Despite being born in Germany and representing German youth national teams, Boateng ultimately donned the Black Stars jersey, featuring in 15 international matches for Ghana, including appearances at FIFA World Cup tournaments.

One of the most memorable moments of Boateng’s international career came during the 2010 World Cup, where he scored a crucial goal that helped Ghana secure a historic 2-1 victory over the USA, propelling them to their first-ever quarter-finals appearance in the prestigious tournament.
