The renowned highlife star wholeheartedly supported Medeama, who made history by winning their first-ever Ghana Premier League title with a convincing win over Tamale City.

Forward Jonathan Sowah scored a fantastic hat-trick, leading Medeama to a resounding 3-0 victory and securing the title for the Mauve and Yellow.

Medeama had been aiming for this moment since their league debut in 2011, and it arrived in spectacular fashion as they brilliantly dispatched their opponents in front of a packed house that included Kofi Kinaata.

The game was extremely important to the people of the Western region. No team from the region had won the league since Hasaacas won it in 1977. As a result, everyone rallied behind Medeama, eager to put an end to the long wait. As a result, the presence of Kofi Kinaata, one of the region’s superstars, came as no surprise.

By winning the title, Medeama joined the elite clubs and became Ghana’s 12th league champion. They will also compete in the CAF Champions League for the first time next season.
