A young and enthusiastic West Ham United fan couldn’t contain her excitement as she passionately lauded Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus for his brilliant performance in the Carabao Cup match against Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

The former Ajax midfielder, who arrived at West Ham in August, has quickly won the hearts of many Hammers’ supporters and is becoming a fan favorite under manager David Moyes.

Kudus, at 23 years old, made the most of his opportunity by scoring a stunning goal that played a pivotal role in West Ham’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal at the London Stadium.

In the 50th minute, he received a precise pass from Morocco’s Naif Aguerd and, with his magical left foot, expertly maneuvered around his marker with an inch-perfect first-touch before sending a low strike to the far post, beating Arsenal’s goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale.

The young girl, clad in her Mohammed Kudus’ West Ham replica shirt and overwhelmed with excitement, gave an interview where she commended her team’s efforts and lavished praise on Mohammed Kudus for his exceptional performance in the match. She exclaimed, “I didn’t expect it to happen…” It was a great game. Kudus, whoo! He was like a master today. He was great. That touch. That was a great touch and that goal,” all with infectious enthusiasm.

Kudus’ goal followed an own goal by Arsenal’s Ben White in the first quarter of the first half, and Jarod Bowen later added West Ham’s third goal in the 60th minute, sealing a comfortable win. Arsenal’s late efforts only resulted in a consolation goal through Martin Odegaard in injury time.

The young fan also expressed her optimism about West Ham’s prospects in the Carabao Cup, as they advance to the quarter-finals of the competition.
