Ghanaian attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus delivered a standout performance on Thursday evening, scoring a hat-trick in the Europa League clash between Ajax and Ludogorets.

Kudus’ electrifying display earned him the match ball, elevating Ajax to a commanding 4-1 victory in Bulgaria during the first leg of the play-off tie.

Kudus’s brace, achieved in just two minutes, was followed by a third goal after halftime, propelling the Dutch club to a resounding triumph.

Dutch-Ghanaian forward Brian Brobbey added another goal to seal the deal, culminating in an impressive result that places Ajax firmly in control of the tie, poised to progress to the group stage.

As Kudus graced the pitch in Bulgaria, reports swirled about his imminent move to West Ham United, with suggestions of an impending agreement between the Premier League club and Ajax.

Following the remarkable match, Kudus was posed with the question of whether this marked his farewell to Ajax. Reflecting on his situation, he replied, “I think it was my final game here at Ajax. I don’t have control over anything but let’s see what happens. The talks are going on. We have to see if an agreement is reached in the next few days. Then we take it from there. That’s not my call or my job, I just do my thing on the pitch and my team takes care of the rest.”

In the same interview, Kudus described West Ham as a “good club,” strongly hinting at his interest in the move. With just seven days remaining in the summer transfer window, Kudus remains hopeful that the anticipated deal will come to fruition.
