A 36-year-old painter Fuseini Siaka living in Barekese, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti region flew privately to Accra to receive a whopping amount of GHC 6 million after winning the staggering amount on betPawa, an online betting platform in Ghana.

The news of the grand win set the internet abuzz with several comments and congratulatory messages marking an incredible moment in the fast-rising venture of many Ghanaians – sports betting.

To spice up the remarkable win of Siaka, betPawa went above and beyond by flying him in a private jet from Kumasi to Accra for a grand prize presentation.

Siaka, who became BetPawa’s biggest aviator winner, shared his disbelief at winning the substantial prize with just GH¢40 after multiple attempts.

“I was shocked when I saw the figure; I couldn’t pronounce it, so I showed it to a brother. The next moment, I had a call from BetPawa, and the caller told me not to worry, and that my cash was intact,” expressed the elated winner.

Despite having various plans for the significant sum, Siaka admitted that the happiness and pressure surrounding his newfound wealth had delayed a decision on its use.

“I must confess that I was shocked when I saw the GH¢6m in my wallet, and at a point, I thought it was a dream,” he added.

In a brief ceremony at the Holiday Inn hotel in Accra, BetPawa presented Siaka with a GH¢6 million cheque and a VVIP ticket to witness his favorite team, Hearts of Oak, play against Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium over the weekend. Accompanied by his sister, brother, and friend, Siaka was also gifted an iPhone Pro Max.
