German football star Antonio Rüdiger is making the most of his holiday break in Ghana, and he couldn’t be happier.

The tough-tackling defender, who also hails from Sierra Leone, expressed his deep connection to Africa, stating that he feels right at home in Ghana.

The Real Madrid star shared his excitement about being in Ghana and emphasised the unity of the African continent. “First of all, it’s not my first time being in Ghana, and for me, I feel at home. Though I am a Sierra Leonean, I think Africa is for us all, so I am grateful to be here,” Rüdiger remarked with enthusiasm to Kickgh.

Since arriving in Ghana, he has been fully immersed in various activities, soaking up the country’s rich culture and warm hospitality. From exploring local sights to engaging with the community, Rüdiger has embraced the spirit of Ghana, cherishing every moment before he heads back to Spain for Real Madrid’s pre-season preparations.

Rüdiger is not the only foreign footballer who has visited Ghana for vacation; Memphis Depay and former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum also went. They both had a good time.
