Wilfred Ndidi teases Leicester City teammate Fatawu Issahaku for napping at the gym

In a lighthearted moment at the gym, Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi couldn’t resist capturing his Leicester City teammate, Fatawu Issahaku, catching some Z’s after what seemed to be a rigorous training session.

The video clip of the amusing incident was later shared on social media, showing the camaraderie among the players.

In the video, Ndidi playfully teases Issahaku with a grin, saying, “Oboy, you comot from Africa come here come sleep” – loosely translated to “Boy, you’ve traveled all the way from Africa to come and sleep here.” His ‘mischievous’ comment woke Issahaku from his brief slumber, and the Ghana forward responded in good spirits to the friendly banter.

Fatawu Issahaku, who joined Leicester City on loan from Sporting CP, experienced a challenging season with his previous club in Portugal, ultimately leading to his decision to switch to the former Premier League champions. Despite Leicester City’s relegation at the end of the previous season, they have started their Championship campaign on a positive note.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian talent has already made seven appearances for the Championship side, providing an assist along the way. His performances have earned praise from the team’s manager, who firmly believes in his potential to make a significant impact.

As Leicester City strives to regain their top-flight status, Fatawu Issahaku remains determined to contribute to their success. The playful interaction captured in the gym reflects the unity and camaraderie among the players as they work toward their shared goals on and off the pitch.
