Jordan Ozuna, the partner of footballer Karim Benzema and mother of his fourth child, has announced her conversion to Islam.

Ozuna revealed that she converted in a small and intimate ceremony at the Mosque of Madrid, where the Qur’an was recited.

Speaking about her decision (via AS Tikitakas), she expressed her emotional response, saying, “I have converted to Islam. It was here in the Mosque of Madrid. They recite the Qur’an. … It’s a small and intimate ceremony. I cried like a girl. I am very sentimental.”

“I have researched a lot about this religion, and I find it beautiful. Everything I’ve read about her has moved me. During Ramadan, I read the Qur’an, and it made me cry. I also read The Sacred Path to Islam, about a Christian who converts to Islam, like me. A really precious book.”

Benzema, who recently completed his transfer to Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad, will have Ozuna’s support from the sidelines in Saudi Arabia.

Ozuna expressed her enthusiasm for the adventure, stating that she is eager to explore the culture and cuisine of the country.

When asked about the strict dress codes in Saudi Arabia, she responded positively, appreciating the beauty of the culture and expressing her delight in the upcoming journey.

Jordan Ozuna, originally from Maryland, USA, has embraced her new faith and is ready to embark on this new chapter in her life alongside Benzema in Saudi Arabia.
