The popular song ‘Terminator’ by King Promise was played in the Barcelona locker room before the team’s match against Getafe in their opening La Liga game.

The 2023/24 La Liga season for the Blaugrana began on Sunday night with an away game against Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez Stadium.

Barcelona had a tough night as they laboured to a goalless draw against the underdogs while having winger Raphina and manager Xavi sent off.

However, on the flip side, what has amassed attention on social media is the viral song by Ghanaian Afrobeats singer King Promise titled Terminator. The song was played in the dressing room of the Spanish champions as the players trooped in to get ready for the game as shared by La Liga on Twitter.

The popular song has already garnered a great number of views on YouTube with over 4.1 million people streaming the official video of the song.

Meanwhile, Barcelona finished the game disappointed after sharing the spoils and are aiming to rebound to winning as they remained determined to defend the league title.

They will face Villareal in their next game on Sunday at Camp Nou.
