Partey celebrates arrival of baby girl with girlfriend

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is overjoyed as he and his girlfriend, Janine Mackson, announce the birth of their adorable baby girl.

The couple shared the exciting news on social media, treating fans to glimpses of their newfound joy.

Janine took to her Instagram stories to reveal partial photos of herself and Partey holding the hands of their newborn, expressing their happiness with the caption “the biggest blessing.”

Another photo featured Janine holding the baby, capturing the tender moment in a mirror picture.

The couple, who had previously kept their relationship private, made their pregnancy public in October with a gender reveal ceremony. In a social media video, Partey kicked a small ball into the air, revealing pink powder, signifying the impending arrival of a baby girl.

Earlier that month, Janine confirmed her pregnancy by sharing a photo of her baby bump, captioned with “New beginnings.” Partey commented on the post, saying “God did.”

Despite Partey’s recent injury setback, causing him to miss Ghana’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations campaign, the couple has been actively sharing their journey to parenthood on social media.

They have also shared enjoyable moments, such as meeting Ghanaian dancehall sensation Stonebwoy in London.

Partey, who is currently undergoing a recovery process, last featured in the English Premier League in October 2023. The 30-year-old midfielder has faced challenges with injuries this season, making only five appearances.

Fans and well-wishers have flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the couple, celebrating this new chapter in their lives.
