Renowned broadcaster and host of “The Standpoint,” Oheneyere Gifty Anti, has opened up about her willingness to embark on the journey of motherhood once again, despite her current age.
In a recent interview with KMJ on Joy Prime, Gifty Anti expressed her excitement and readiness to give birth again if the opportunity arises, revealing that opportunity was always profound and miraculous.
Gifty Anti, who welcomed her daughter, Nyame Animuonyam Afia Asaa Afrakoma Sintim-Misa in her later years, shared insights into her unique perspective on motherhood.
Having faced the challenges and joys of raising her child since infancy, she candidly acknowledged the difficulties that can come with becoming a mother during the menopausal years.
Drawing from her personal experience, Gifty Anti empathized with women who find themselves in similar situations, emphasizing the worthiness of the journey.
“Absolutely I will. At 53, I will. That is the amazing, miraculous life of mothers. There are people who have gone through CS three times, and it’s not easy. I’m still bearing the burden of going through CS. Though I still get back pains and aches due to the epidural, if God should give me twins right now, I will gladly take them,” she confidently stated.
In addition to her thoughts on motherhood, Gifty Anti also revealed details about her upcoming book, titled “The Black Chale Wote.”
The book, set to be launched on August 10, 2023, at the Accra International Conference Centre, holds a special place in Oheneyere Gifty Anti’s heart.
Inspired by her gratitude for her daughter and her journey as a career woman navigating motherhood at an older age, the book is an ode to the resilience of women who navigate both professional success and motherhood.
