A former contestant on the popular reality TV show #PerfectMatchXtra, Sandra has recently opened up about her experience on the show.
Speaking in an interview on TV3 New Day, Sandra expressed her thoughts on how the environment did not align with her expectations of making friends and connecting with others.
“For me, it was not just about finding love, but also about forming genuine friendships and being able to express myself openly,” Sandra shared. “However, I quickly realized that the environment on the show was not in my favor. It didn’t resonate with my energy, and it affected my ability to be myself.”
According to Sandra who recoupled with Dzato after the first week in the house, she felt the environment in the house did not align with her energy and impacted her overall experience.
“When I’m in a space where the energy is not favourable for me, it brings me down automatically, and I find it challenging to express myself fully,” she explained.
Throughout her time on the show, Sandra revealed that she had a lot on her mind despite Dzato, her partner providing support, she yearned for genuine connections and meaningful conversations with her fellow participants.
“I wanted to make friends and have people I could talk to, as well as people who would talk to me,” she expressed.
Unfortunately, the circumstances didn’t allow for the kind of connections Sandra had hoped for. Despite this, she remains resilient and accepts the situation. “It wasn’t like that, but that’s fine,” Sandra said, acknowledging that not every experience can meet our expectations.
Sandra and Dzato’s time on #PerfectMatchXtra came to an end on Saturday during the Live Eviction show.
