DSL crowned winner of Unsung Category at 2023 VGMA

Talented Lynx Entertainment signed artist, Lawrence Senyo Adiase, better known as  DSL has emerged as the winner in the Unsung Category at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

The exciting news was announced on Friday, April 27, 2023, ahead of the main awards ceremony.

DSL, known for his hit song “Chow,” was one of six artists nominated in the category.

The other five nominees were Tsaqa, Ni Ashun, Aya RamzyB, Boijake, and Maya Blu.

The Unsung Category is a special category at the VGMA that gives up-and-coming artists the opportunity to showcase their talent and gain recognition in the music industry.

The winner of this category is determined by public votes and is given a chance to perform at the VGMA main event.

DSL expressed his joy and appreciation for the support he received from his fans and the VGMA team.

In a statement, he said, “Big thanks to you all for supporting sharing and voting for me. We’ve won this now ???????? This wouldn’t be possible without your support
I’m so so grateful ????????????. THANK YOU ALL..”

Congratulations to DSL on his well-deserved win in the Unsung Category at the 2023 VGMA.

DSL will also get the opportunity to perform on the VGMA stage at the Accra International Conference Centre on May 6, 2023
