Here is how the year went for Naa Ashorkor.

In your opinion, how did the year 2023 go for you?

“2023 has been a good year I think, it’s been a really good year for me. I am with Media General, I joined TV3 and the experience has been exceptional. Everyone has been so nice and the feedback has been great. I am having a good time and it is one of the good things that has happened to me.”

As 2023 winds down, what are your Aspirations for 2024?

“Milestones let me see. I just TV3, media General which has been great. I co-produced The Gods Are Not to be Blamed, one of the biggest theatricals that has been shown at the national theatre of Ghana. That was good.

Also, I was invited to speak at the African biggest Hero’s Congress in Kigali Rwanda. It was amazing and one of the highlights of my year. I was named one of the contributors to the African Biggest Hero’s Summit since its inception.”

Were there any plans you couldn’t accomplish in 2023?

“Well, this year I hope that I will be able to do more stage productions. I am a theatre lover enthusiast and producer. So I had a lot of theatre plans for the year. I couldn’t do as many as I wanted to. But the one I did do is the Gods are not be blamed has been the best yet, so I am happy and content. ”

As 2023 winds down, what are your aspirations for 2024?

“Next year I hope to do more with my career and personal growth. More importantly, I hope that I and my friends and the people in my life would take fitness more seriously, go to the gym, stay hydrated, keep the body properly, and also generally explore more. I love adventure, I love to travel so I hope to do that more next year. Also, do more social impact projects, especially for women and children.”

Give a shout-out to someone who played a significant role in your life this year

“I would like to say a special mega shout out to my co-hosts on TV3 New Day, Rowland Walker, Berla Mundi, and Cookie Tee, and the entire New Day team for being so warm and welcoming to me since I joined. Also a shout out to George Quaye in theatrical production and my team. And to my dear family, thank you for helping me be all that I am today”
