Nigerian singer Iyanya has addressed the claims that he cheated on his ex-lover Yvonne Nelson with her colleague actress, Tonto Dikeh.

In a highly anticipated response to the accusations of infidelity made against him in Yvonne Nelson’s memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” the ‘Your Waist Singer’ tweeted that Yvonne should brace herself for the responses of her colleague, Tonto Dikeh.

As tensions rise between the two public figures,  Iyanya responding to a tweet from a social media turned his focus to the identity of the person who allegedly contacted Nelson from Iyanya’s house, with the intention of shedding light on the truth.

“What’s the name of the person who called her from my house ? After that question, we will answer if her accusations are true or false and what really transpired, he tweeted before ending with the title of his EP “LOVE & TRUST””

Nelson’s memoir details the heartbreak and betrayal she experienced upon learning about Iyanya’s alleged involvement with popular actress Tonto Dikeh during their relationship.

The revelation has since captured the attention of fans and media alike, prompting Iyanya to address the accusations directly.

In his response, the ‘Love & Trust’ crooner promised to respond later but at the moment was focused on promoting his new song.

“So Yvonne Nelson said I cheated on her with Tonto Dike? Oh wow. I’ll respond to this later. I no go write book, but…. For now make I go watch my new video Director just send me now. Love & Trust Ft Joeboy ????”

Kukere master, Iyanya and Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson’s relationship hit the rocks in 2012 after an alleged affair with fellow actress, Tonto Dikeh, an accusation he has vehemently denied.

The profound betrayal left Nelson devastated and prompted her to vent her anguish on Twitter.

In response, Tonto Dikeh herself took to the platform, suggesting that people change, including their feelings, and advised Nelson to move on.
