2023 Artiste of the Year Black Sherif couldn’t hide his disappointment when a costly error from Ghana’s Osman Bukari saw the Black Stars drop points against Egypt in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Ghana were on the brink of victory on Thursday night in the captivating encounter after Mohammed Kudus restored the lead with his second goal following Egypt’s equaliser which came by virtue of an Inaki Williams error.

The Athletic Bilbao forward was replaced by Osman Bukari a few minutes later but the Red Star Belgrade winger’s introduction did not yield the needed result as he mistakenly gifted the ball to the Pharaoahs again who thanked their lucky stars and made it count ending the game 2-2.

With several reactions flying in amidst the disappointment, the BET Hip Hop Best International flow awardee added his voice questioning Bukari’s unpardonable error.

On X, formerly Twitter, he wrote, “you comot bench come dash free goal, herh” explained as “you climbed from the bench to give aware a goal” emphasizing his disappointment.

The dynamic musician had earlier commended Kudus for his remarkable display in the game.

In a surprising turn of events, the 24-year-old was subbed off again and replaced by Joseph Paintsil.

Coach Hughton justified the decision after the game stating that “He is a very committed and honest player. At that moment, I thought the mistake affected him in the game.”

Meanwhile, before the game, Bukari was one of the masses’ favourites with many fans calling for his inclusion following his exploits in the past in the national colours.

Ghana will play their third and final group game against Mozambique on Monday to win to stand a chance to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
