Former #PerfectMatchXtra housemate, Ruth has opened up about her feelings towards her partner, Ali, highlighting her readiness for a deeper connection.
While sharing her feeling on TV3 New Day, she also addressed the perceived attitude she believes Ali has been displaying towards her which started back in the Reality House.
According to Ruth, she personally feels ready to take their relationship to the next level. However, she mentions that Ali has been giving her attitude, which persists even in their current situation where they haven’t spoken to each other.
“Personally, I am ready but Ali has been giving me attitude which even now he is still doing it, even now as we are here we haven’t spoken to each other and it’s not because of Etornam,” she revealed
Ruth described instances where she asked Ali to join her in performing tasks and he reacted in a negative him, often shouting and speaking disrespectfully.

“He has some kind of attitude in general. When you ask Ali to do something, he’ll make it look like I am forcing him to do it and he’ll be shouting and he talks anyhow,” she lamented.
She also shared that it appears as though Ali did not like her but felt compelled to be with her.
“It seems like he doesn’t like me but I am the one forcing him if he feels this not what he wants love is not by force he should just say it because when I started getting feelings for him then he’s started acting up in the house,” she added
In response, Ali denied the accusation of giving Ruth attitude, explaining that as housemates, they were all living together and needed to spend time with others and build relationships with everyone in the house.
“If she says I am giving her attitude then I’ll say it’s a lie because we are all in the house as housemates so I can’t be all over you 24/7 sometimes you need to be with your housemates to cope and relate with everyone so that’s what basically I said that she should go and mingle with others. I love you [pointing to Ruth] I can’t give you attitude,” he expressed.
He also took the opportunity to assert his love for Ruth and expressed his desire to elevate their relationship to a more profound level.
“I want to take my relationship with Ruth to the next level and I am serious about it,” he affirmed.
It remains to be seen how their relationship will progress after #PerfectMatchXtra and whether they can overcome their current challenges to establish a stronger bond.
