Oseikrom Sikanii has sent a strongly worded caution to individuals posing as his lookalikes and joking with his brand to desist from it or incur their wrath.
In a recent interview on Original TV, the hiplife artiste warned that he would go as far as organizing people to physically confront anyone who dares to impersonate him and tarnish his reputation.
Born Ransford Brefo, he emphasized that his unique brand sets him apart from others, making it difficult for imposters to mimic his image.
While acknowledging the existence of a genuine lookalike, he emphasized that this individual understands the consequences of claiming to be associated with Oseikrom Sikanii publicly.
“These lookalikes look out for the brand of some musicians and when you look at my brand, you should know you cannot joke with it,” Oseikrom Sikanii declared during the interview.
He added, “They play with people who will give them the chance to do that. Who says I don’t have a lookalike? I do but the thing is he cannot joke with me and announce on social media that he is my lookalike. I will let people beat you, I can gather people to beat you up.”

The ‘sika duro’ hitmaker was firm in his decision to take action against anyone who attempts to deceive the public and exploit his brand for personal gain.
Furthermore, Oseikrom Sikanii revealed his intention to protect his intellectual property rights, stating that he possesses extensive knowledge of the law and has a team of lawyers at his disposal. He warned organizers and performers that he would not hesitate to take legal action against anyone who performs his songs without his consent.
“I am a funny guy but my lawyers are very active. I have many lawyers and not just one. If an organizer makes the mistake of allowing someone to perform my songs at events, I’ll arrest both of you no matter the money you dey hold. I’ll let you know I know the law,” Oseikrom Sikanii asserted.
The musician also expressed his concern that associating himself with a lookalike could exacerbate the existing problems he faces.
He explained that some individuals have impersonated him to commit crimes, leading to a negative perception of his character on social media. Oseikrom Sikanii expressed a desire to make an example out of someone to deter others from engaging in similar deceptive acts.
“A lot of people may see these acts to be harmless, but I see it to be a big deal because I think I’ll generate problems for me. Already people are using my name to fraud people on the internet. People are using my name for money but I don’t that and because of that, I have been given a bad name. So, I need someone to use as a scapegoat to tell people that I am harmful,” he explained.
