Celebrated Ghanaian actor Kofi Adjorlolo has expressed his admiration for rising star King Promise and the impact his song ‘CCTV’ had on him in a recent interview on Onua Showtime with McBrown.
Adjorlolo revealed that he was captivated by the artist’s talent and unique style, which left him with goosebumps upon first listening to the track.
According to Adjorlolo who has extensive experience as a music and an OAP himself, his first interaction with King Promise was watching the music video for ‘CCTV,’ where the artist appeared on a train or similar setting. It was at that precise moment that Adjorlolo recognized the emergence of new talent in the music scene.
“The first time he came out he did a video and he was on a train or something, that’s CCTV, I got goosebumps that was when I knew there was another guy on the scene and from that time I’ve been following him,” he shared
Another aspect of the CCTV crooner’s brand that particularly resonates with Adjorlolo is his bald haircut, which mirrors his own. This shared physical feature has further endeared the artist to the veteran actor, creating a deeper connection and appreciation for his work.
“And the image that makes him unique, do you want to know?? his bald haircut, just like mine. I love this guy so much and I don’t have anything else to say,” Adjorlolo expressed while taking off his hat to show off his bald head which sent the studio audience laughing.
King Promise, known for his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics was also receptive to the kind words from the Nollywood legend.
